- What is DNOW Weekend?
DNOW Weekend is an in-town retreat, where we will spend a concentrated amount of time in small group study and large group worship gatherings. These small groups will meet, eat, and sleep in the home of the families from FBC. The groups will be divided by gender and grades. Our theme for 2022 is “In The Making”.
- What are the dates for DNOW Weekend?
Friday, March 25th – Sunday, March 27th. We will meet at FBC @ 5:30 PM on Friday. Please eat before you come. The retreat will end at the conclusion of the Sunday AM worship service.
- How much does it cost?
$25. This includes EVERYTHING for the weekend. No one should miss this weekend because of finances. If you are unable to pay $25 then we will work with you to ensure that you can attend. Have your parents see Michael ASAP.
- What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes at your host homes. Casual clothes for worship times. Please wear DNOW shirts for worship service on Sunday AM.
- Will we stay at the homes all weekend and what about transportation?
You will spend two nights in the homes. For those who are new to the group that may sound a little scary. Those serving as host homes are trustworthy individuals who have gone through FBC’s process for helping with the student ministry. We will provide transportation to and from each event. Students will not be able to drive to and from events.
- What should I bring?
Snacks, Bible, pen, sleeping bag, pillow, personal toiletries, and a great attitude. Cell phones must be put away during small group study times and large group worship times.
Each participant must have a signed DNOW Release Form.
